Robert "Bob" Covington

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Aaron Covington, who left us on February 16, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on May 19, 1964, in Monahans, Texas, Robert lived a life full of joy, laughter, and community spirit. He was a true people person and a beloved member of the Monahans community.

Robert was known for his passion for sports cars and motorcycles, and nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his mother. A graduate of Monahans High School, he forged his own path as a self-employed individual, bringing his unique charm to every interaction.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Hardin Covington; his brother, Patrick Covington; and his paternal grandparents, Louise and Mattie Covington, as well as his maternal grandmother, Ernestine Bent, maternal grandfather, Edward Stewart, and great-grandparents, Cornielius and Willie McDade.

He is survived by his loving mother, Cornelius Faye Covington; his brothers, Hardin Covington Jr. and wife, Yvette, Edward Covington, and Ernest Covington; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held at Harkey Funeral Home February 28th, 2025, from 12:00pm-8:00pm.

Service will be March 1st,2025 at Harkey Funeral Home at 1:00pm.
