Robert Ruth

Robert Anthony Ruth, 46, formerly of Monahans, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2015 in Alamogordo, NM. He was born July 24, 1969 in Portales, NM to Guy Anthony and Eunice (Scurlark) Ruth.

He served as a medic in the U.S. Army.

He loved poetry, reading, sports, and fishing. He was very creative and he loved all phases of the arts. He always stayed around his mother. He loved music and writing. He craved knowledge and really enjoyed learning about things - no matter what they may be. He never met a stranger and loved entertaining others. He had a very big heart and would help anyone he could.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Alan Adrian Ruth.

Bobby is survived by his son, Tre'von Spriuell of Newport News, VA; and parents, Guy Anthony Ruth of Columbia, MD and Eunice Ruth of Alamogordo, NM.

There will be no viewing or visitation. Funeral services will be Monday, September 7, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Pastor Jeppie Wilson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
