Ronald Barber

Ronald "Ron" Lee Barber, 78 of Monahans, passed on September 6th in Dallas.

He was born June 28, 1944, in Muleshoe Tx, to Whit and Dora Barber. He was the husband of the late Donnita Barber. He is survived by his sons, Chris Barber and Craig Barber, and his five grandchildren.

He had his Associates Degree from Odessa College, and he worked in the Natural Gas industry all his life. Ron continued even after retirement to work part-time as he enjoyed the interaction with everyone at Armstrong Gas Labs.

Ron also liked collecting knives and coins. He has numerous stories where he helped local businesses out when they didn’t have enough change. One of his favorite things was to stop at the convenience store to get chocolate milk and peanut butter crackers and chat with everyone
