Rosa Aguirre

Rosa Aguirre, 75, passed away on December 19, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 18, 1941 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Faustino and Sara Rosas. Her favorite things to do were to sing and travel.

Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, son Frank, three grandchildren, Russell, Gilbert, Adriana, a great grandchild, Abdiel, and sisters and brothers, Junior, Ruben, Carmen, and Marie Elna.

She is survived by her husband Samuel Aguirre, three sons, Frank and Joann Rodriguez, Jr of Fort Stockton, Texas, Johnny and Carmen Rodriguez of Uvalde, Texas, Samuel and Elva Aguirre, Jr of Palestine, Texas, five daughters, Yolanda Rodriguez of Lubbock, Texas, Erma and Pete Celaya of San Antonio, Texas, Becky Rodriguez of Fort Stockton, Texas, Dora Ponce of Monahans, Texas, Rosamaria Aguirre of Monahans, Texas, two brothers, Rene and Anna Rosas of Fort Stockton, Texas, Bobby Rosas of Brownsville, Texas, four sisters, Dora Bustamante of Fort Stockton, Texas, Linda and Raymond Velasquez of Fort Stockton, Texas, Norma Aguirre of Lubbock, Texas, Gloria Hernandez of Midland, Texas, 23 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren.

Mass service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Monahans, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016, Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel.
