Ruben Balderaz

Ruben Lynn Balderaz, 60, of Monahans, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, in Midland, Texas.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.

Ruben was born to Domingo Balderaz Sr. and Eufemia Ybarra on July 18, 1962, in Slayton, Texas.  Ruben attended Monahans High School and was a truck driver for most of his life.  He enjoyed traveling, he loved his Dallas Cowboys, and he loved his steak dinners and tamales but most of all he loved spending time with family.  Ruben simply adored his best friend and four-legged baby, Duchess Nicole Balderaz.

Ruben is preceded in death by his brother, Adam Balderaz.

Ruben is survived by his son, Eric Balderaz and children; his father, Domingo Balderaz, Sr.; his mother, Eufemia Munoz; brothers, Domingo Balderaz, Jr. and Roger Balderaz; his sister, Monica Balderaz Moreno; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers are as follows, Domingo Balderaz Jr., Roger Balderaz, Maurisio Moreno, Anthony Aguilar, Juan Antonio Armendariz, and Ryan Miller.
