Sammy Golden

Sammy Ray Golden, 60, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at his home in Monahans. He was born June 23, 1955 in Brownfield, TX.

Sammy, known lovingly by his grandchildren as "Mammy," was a hard worker and a gun enthusiast. He also had a passion for animals that led to the rescue of many.

Sammy is survived by his wife, Judy Golden; daughter, Shana Heard; grandchildren, Soncee and Rayne Heard; sister, Shirley Townsend; and niece, Samantha Townsend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ruby Golden; brother, Bill Golden; and nephew, Daniel Townsend.

A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 2 PM at Monahans Memorial Cemetery pavilion.
