Sanjuanita Rodriguez

SanJuanita Valenzuela Rodriguez was 62 years old when the Lord decided to take her. She passed away on Thursday August 23, 2018 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston Texas.
Viewing will held Tuesday August 28, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harkey Funeral Home, 210 S. Allen Ave. in Monahans Texas. Rosary will be held on Wednesday August 29, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday August 30, 2018 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, 500 S. Ike in Monahans Texas with father Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans memorial cemetery, 400 S Helen Ave.
SanJuanita was born in Palomas Numero 1 Chihuahua Mexico to Jesus Rodriguez and Elva Valenzuela Rodriguez on April 1, 1956. On July 1, 2018 SanJuanita was diagnosed with AML. She received 1 treatment of chemo and was in remission. But because the chemo was so hard on her body, her organs started failing. She fought really hard but in the end her body was just too weak and God called her home. SanJuanita was a homemaker that loved to cook and spend time with her family. She loved to travel. She lived a beautiful life and will be truly missed by her family and friends.
SanJuanita is preceded in death by her father Jesus Rodriguez and mother Elva Valenzuela Rodriguez.
To cherish her beautiful memories SanJuanita leaves behind son Guadalupe Hernandez and spouse Elidia Hernandez of Midland TX, son Jesus Solis and spouse Marylou Solis of Midland TX, daughter Leonor Yanez and spouse Eliseo Yanez of Monahans TX, son Refugio Solis and spouse Monica Solis of Roswell NM, daughter Karina Kelley and spouse Joseph Kelley II of Midland TX. She had 16 grandchildren, Edward Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez, Anika Hernandez, Jesus Solis Jr., Destiny Solis, Faith Solis, Ricky Yanez, Bridget Yanez, Yanessa Yanez, Eliseo Yanez Jr. (Cheo), Mark Solis, Jewel Solis, Matthias Solis, Delilah Garcia, Joseph Kelley III (Tripp), Joshua Kelley (Tyler), and 7 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Enrique Hernandez, Edward Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez, Jesus Solis Jr., Mark Solis, and Angel Moreno. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Kelley III (Tripp), Eliseo Yanez Jr. (Cheo), Joshua Kelley (Tyler), and Matthias Solis.
