Serbando Hernandez

Serbando Rios Hernandez, 76, passed away on December 25, 2016 in Monahans, Texas. He was born on January 14, 1940 to Ramon and Aurora "Rios" Hernandez in Ojinaga, Mexico.

Serbando moved to Kermit, Texas in 1978 where he worked in the oilfield, after that he moved to Monahans, Texas in 1979. He was a Jehovah Witness. Serbando was known well for his cooking, especially his asado.

He is preceded in death by his son Maurilio Hernandez.

Serbando is survived by his sons, Rogelio and Peggy Hernandez of Mexico, Gerardo and Martha Hernandez of Kermit, Texas, Rafael and Eden Hernandez of Kermit, Texas, Servando and Cristina Hernandez of Monahans, Texas, Rodolfo Hernandez of Monahans, Texas, his daughters, Uvelia and Victor Miranda of Monahans, Texas, Aurora and Jesus Ortiz of Kermit, Texas, Erika Hernandez of Monahans, Texas, 16 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
