Shirlene (Shirley) Viasana

Shirlene Ann Viasana, 64, of Monahans, Texas, passed away on July 19, 2021 in Midland, Texas.

Shirlene was born in Sulphur, Louisiana to her parents David and Annie Williams on July 28, 1956.

She moved to Monahans in 1977. Shirlene married her husband Regino Vicente on February 20, 1977 in Monahans, Texas.  Shirlene was known to be one of the most giving people in town.  She was always willing to help anyone who needed a place to go, a few dollars, or even a meal. Shirlene had a welcoming and loving soul. She was also a member of Cornerstone Church in Monahans.  Shirlene was a lovely wife and a great mother who will be greatly missed.

Shirlene is preceded in death by her parents David and Annie Williams.

Shirlene is survived by her husband Regino Vicente Viasana of Monahans, Texas, son; Regino Rene Viasana of Appleton, Wisconsin, daughters; Regina Mayers of Monahans, Texas, and Rebecca Naverette of Wink, Texas, two brothers; Charles Williams of White Oak,Texas, and James Williams of Saratoga, Texas, sister Roxie McDonald of Kountze, Texas, sister in law’s; Lupe Armendariz and husband Primo of Cedar Creek, Texas, Kathy Viasana  of Dallas, Texas, Susie Gonzales and husband Lewis of Carthage, Texas, Minnie Ramos and husband Paul of San Antonio, Texas, Marlyn Chavez of Monahans, Texas, Anna Prestor of Lubbock, Texas and brother in law Joe Viasana of Carthage, Texas, along with, 19 grandchildren.
