Theresa Ruiz

On Friday, January 21, 2022 Theresa was called home to join her grandparents in Heaven.

Theresa was born on October 28, 1974 to Michael John Oyerbides and Cindy Ruiz Sanchez in Odessa, Tx.

Theresa was a Mom, Grandma, Sister and a good friend. The last two years of her life were spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very caring person to all that she met. Theresa had gotten sober and was dedicated to helping others that struggled in addiction by giving them an encouraging word that there was hope in being sober. Theresa could walk into a room and she would make you laugh. Theresa was not perfect, but yet she was perfect to us. She wanted to make a change in the world. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Theresa is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Salvador and Manuela Ruiz, paternal grandparents Miguel and Eduvijes Oyerbides.

She is survived by her mother Cindy Sanchez of Midland, Tx. Her father Michael Oyerbides and wife Elda Ornelas of Monahans, Tx. Her brother Josh and wife Amanda Oyerbides of Midland, Tx. Her daughters Danielle Lopez  and husband Alex Lopez, Kristian Sanchez and husband Edward Sanchez both of Midland, Tx. Her son Isaiah Ruiz of San Marcos, Tx. Her 6 grandchildren Alejandro, Annalise, Red, Aubree, Averee and Markus all of Midland, Tx. Also, many, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
