Thomas Howard Beckham

Thomas Howard Beckham of Monahans, TX, passed away on July 6, 2024 at the age of 77 with his family by his side. 

 Tommy, as his friends called him, attended Monahans High School where he played football and ran track for the Loboes. After high school, Tommy joined the Navy and was stationed in Cuba. After his return and discharge from the Navy, he met the love of his life and later married his sweetheart, Colleen, on November 25, 1971. 

Tommy worked for Warren Petroleum, Gulf, Chevron, Dynegy, and Targa. After over 45 years working in the oilfield, he opened Monahans Measurement Service. 

In his free time, Tommy was a die-hard Lobo fan and would proudly wear green any chance he could and would travel all over Texas to support the Loboes. Tommy was immensely proud of his family. He loved spending time with all his family and was always down for a game of canasta. He loved racing, fishing, and drinking coffee on the porch. He always said that life was too short to not go out and enjoy yourself. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Emily Howard and Harold Beckham, and his sisters, Patricia Beckham and Carol Campbell.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Colleen, son Billy Beckham (wife Jamie), daughter Annie Gonzales (husband Nick), sister Lou Perry, brothers Larry Beckham (wife Janet), and Ricky Beckham, numerous nieces and nephews, and his most beloved grandchildren: Colt, Cassidy, and Harper Beckham.
