Vickie H. Brown, a beloved member of the community, peacefully passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 70. Born on August 15, 1953, in Rankin, TX, Vickie touched the lives of many with her warm heart, genuine compassion, and unwavering strength.
Vickie was a woman of exceptional talent and creativity. She possessed a remarkable skill for sewing and took great pride in crafting her own clothing. Her dedication to the artistry of the needle and thread was evident in every stitch she made. Vickie's garments were not only a testament to her talent but also a reflection of her elegant style.
In addition to her sewing expertise, Vickie was known for her culinary prowess. Her mastery in the kitchen was unrivaled, and her delectable dishes brought joy to every gathering. She delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones, and her creations were always savored with delight and gratitude.
Despite her remarkable accomplishments, Vickie remained humble and down to earth throughout her life. She cherished the company of her family and friends, finding immense joy in their presence. Her warm smile and infectious laughter created a welcoming atmosphere for all who knew her.
Vickie's passion for life was exemplified in her career as an executive secretary. Though her profession was demanding, she approached it with grace and professionalism. Vickie's commitment to excellence was evident in everything she did, and she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
Vickie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Lily Bell Brown Arie Davidson; father, William Brown; mother, Betty Brown; sister, Vandella Brown; brothers, Johnny Hardeman and Mark Hardeman ain’t Bobby Brown, special aunts and uncles.
Vickie Brown is survived by her husband, Russell Noah; uncle Roy Altha Brown, Thomas Brown, William Renee Brown, Pamela Brown, Roosevelt Dixon, Omega Sherman, Alston/Gregory Consuela Tinner, Theresa Willie Thomas Jr., and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins, special cousin Bonnie Brown.
The funeral service to honor and celebrate Vickie's life will be held on January 12, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Holy Light Church of God in Christ in Monahans, TX. The ceremony will be a reflection of the grace and beauty that Vickie carried within her. Throughout the service, her life will be remembered, cherished, and celebrated by all who were fortunate to have known her. Following the ceremony, Vickie will be laid to rest in eternal peace at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Vickie H. Brown will forever be missed and treasured. Her memory will remain etched in the hearts of those who were blessed to have shared in her life. May she find everlasting peace in the embrace of her loved ones who have gone before her.
