Willie Sharon Reed

Willie Sharon Reed, age 77, passed away in Kermit, Tx May 31, 2024, at her home. She was born December 10, 1946, in Goree, Texas to Roy and Cleo Wallace. Sharon married Milton Reed on October 21, 1965, in Louisiana and they spent 39 wonderful years together until his passing, November 2004.

Sharon enjoyed watching baseball and was a huge fan of the Texas Rangers, she enjoyed watching wrestling and spending time with her family while getting a good loud game of Wahoo going.

Sharon fought a long hard battle with cancer for many years but handled it so bravely until the end, and she will be dearly missed by all who loved her. “Rest easy mom, you are now at Peace”.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Milton Reed, son Johnny Reed, her father and mother, Roy and Cleo Wallace, brothers Clyde Wallace, Dean Wallace, Brence Wallace, Kenneth Wallace, Bert Wallace and Jimmy Wallace, and sisters Delorse Greene and Fay Bauder.

She is survived by her daughters Ashley McMahan, Peggy and husband Joe Valerio, Tonya Kitchen, Donna Egger and Karen Tyson, sisters Nell Dennis, Edith Pelts and Kay Harris, grandchildren Kelli (Tino), CD (Dalia), Gabriel, Kami, Holly, Summer, Misti, Ross, Kendra, Catlin, Preston and JJ, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date with family

The family wishes to extend a sincere Thank You to Lorina who overseen moms care for many years, and also to Angels Care Hospice of Midland, with a special Thank You to Lenae, Mary, Christin, McKenzie, Destiny, Jennifer and Jackie and staff. Your kindness to mom and to us will never be forgotten and thank you for becoming part of our family.
