Willie James (Wimpy Peewee) Willis Sr. He was born on September 18th 1940 in Coolidge, TX to Emma and Tom Willis. He attended school in Stamford, TX before moving to Monahans, TX. He enjoyed playing cards, cross word puzzles, music, dancing, and entertaining his family and friends. He accepted the Lord as his savior at a young age and Shiloh Baptist has been his church family for over 30 years. He worked at Parks Produces for 35 years before retiring. He was married to Hazel Mitchell on September 18th, 1982 and they had one son (Jr) together on August 15th 1984. They were married for 18 years before they were divorced in 2000.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents Emma and Tom Willis; his brothers Milton Jones, Jimmy Cooper, East Willis, Louis Willis and Tommy Willis; his sisters Patricia Willis and Fedora Young.

He is survived by one brother Luther (Shag) Willis, two sisters Melissa Paige Jackson and Lenora Adams, one son Willie James Willis Jr. and wife Stacy, 5 step daughters Oleta Robinson-Rollie and husband G, Daisy Russell and husband Billy, Bertie Montgomery, Teresa M Willis and husband Tommy, and Ramona White; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, The Senior Citizen Family and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
