Wilma Nay

Wilma Faye Nay, 85, passed away on June 1, 2021, in Monahans, Texas. She was born on December 9, 1935, in Mountainview, Arkansas to Hansford and Edith Freeze.

Wilma and her family moved to Wickett, Texas in 1944. She later married her husband James Nay Sr. on February 16, 1962, in Wickett, Texas. Wilma worked for Monahans Drug Store as a waitress till the birth of her children. She then dedicated her life to taking care of the home along with, three sons.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband James Nay Sr. and parents, Hansford, and Edith Freeze.

Wilma is survived by her three sons, Michael Nay, James “Jim Bob” Nay Jr., Stephen Nay and wife Nancy, Brothers; Wayne Freeze, and Jerry Freeze, sisters; Shirley Snyder, Frances Rainey, as well as Gaylene Blalock. Four grandchildren; Amy Prough, Lori Stava, Candice Bowerman, Branden Nay along with, four great grandchildren; Ethan Stava, Jaxon Stava, Dylan Prough, and Wyatt Prough.
