Winifred Poor

Winifred Wayne Poor, age 82, of Monahans Texas passed away on August 18,2022.

Wayne was born in Merkel, Texas to Keith and Myrtle Poor on February 14, 1940.

Wayne married the love of his life, Sheila Poor, in 1962. This year they would celebrate 60 years of marriage. He was a Monahans Police officer for nearly 30 years.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charlie, his son Darin, and daughter Tracie.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Poor, his children Rickie Poor, Tammie Wilson, Alan Poor, and Devlin Poor. 15 grandkids and 15 great- grandkids, and 2 great-great grandkids.

He lived a servants life and loved his family very much. Services will be Saturday August 27, 2022 at 2pm at Bethel Baptist Church.
